Rust Reconverter LT chemically convert rust into a hard, black, organic “shell' with a clear, acrylic coating. Rust Remover extends the life of anything made of metal. Converts rust and leaves a hard, water proof, protective coat all in one quick and easy step!
No more sanding rusty metal. Rust Reconverter LT can be applied over existing surface rust.
Though layers of rust , flakes or scales should be removed. Once applied by spraying, brushing or swabbing, the surface is sufficiently treated. Job done!
No need to overcoat with any other paint. However, it is compatible with ANY paint of your choice.
Rust Reconverter LT is water based, so you can wash you applicator tools under the water tap without the need of thinners.
Safe to use in confined spaces like engine rooms, tool cabinets, chain lockers and the likes. No acid fumes.
The coating itself is sufficient to last for years, but it is also an excellent primer for latex, water and thinner based paints.
More than just a primer
Rust Reconverter is not just a primer. While you CAN paint over it, there is no need for it, saving further work and cost involved otherwise for more paint.

1 liter will cover approx. 10 sqmtr. Rougher surfaces with more rust need more product than nice, smooth metal.
Looks dear at first sight, but given the fact that you don’t need thinners and no other paint to make it water proof, the price for a coating is actually lower than doing it the traditional way.
Labour time is basically half of the current way to prime and paint a chassis or steel surface. Rust Reconverter LT can be applied by spray gun.
